Personalised Fashion & Styling Experience ‍ ‍
VÉRA is a fashion experience designed to help users discover clothing, create outfits, organise their wardrobe and better understand their personal style. I designed an additional personalised experience focused on helping users move from discovering inspiration to creating looks that feel unique to their individual style.

Finding Personalised Inspiration
Users can feel overwhelmed by endless fashion content and struggle to discover inspiration that genuinely matches their personal style.
Creating Complete Looks
Users may find individual pieces they love but struggle to combine them into cohesive outfits that work together.
Managing a Personal Wardrobe
Users need an easy way to organise the clothes they already own and discover new ways to style them.

Create a More Personalised Experience
Help users discover fashion recommendations based on their individual style and preferences.
Make Outfit Creation Easier
Allow users to experiment with combining different pieces and create complete looks in one place.
Help Users Understand Their Style
Introduce a style profile that gives users a clearer picture of their preferences, colours and preferred silhouettes.

Design Approach

Colours

Typography

Visual Direction
I used a soft, neutral colour palette to create a premium, fashion focused experience. Warm whites, beige tones, deep burgundy and subtle neutrals allow the clothing imagery to remain the main focus of the interface.
Highlight Burgundy
Burgundy is used as the primary accent colour to draw attention to important interactions such as call-to-action buttons, selected navigation states and personalised recommendations.
Design Trends
The visual direction combines editorial fashion aesthetics with modern mobile UX. Minimal layouts, large imagery and restrained colour use create a premium experience while keeping the interface easy to navigate.

Modern & Editorial
I combined a refined editorial style heading treatment with clean supporting typography to reflect the premium fashion identity of VÉRA.
Readability & Hierarchy
Typography was structured to make key information easy to scan while allowing fashion imagery to take visual priority. Clear headings, labels and supporting text help users understand recommendations and actions without overwhelming the interface.

Outcomes

Personal Discovery

Curated Recommendations
The Discover experience introduces personalised fashion inspiration based around the user's preferences, making it easier to find looks that feel relevant rather than browsing an overwhelming collection of products.
Outfit Creation
The Create Look experience allows users to combine different clothing categories and experiment with complete outfits. Recommendations are also surfaced alongside the user's selected pieces to encourage further exploration.
Connected Wardrobe
The My Wardrobe experience gives users a central place to organise their clothing and discover combinations from pieces they already own.
Style Profile
The Style Profile brings the experience together by visualising the user's style preferences, including aesthetics, colours and silhouettes. This creates a more personal relationship between the user and the recommendations they receive.
A More Personal Fashion Experience
The final design creates a connected journey across:
Discover → Personalised Look → Create Look → My Wardrobe → Style Profile
The VÉRA experience brings personalised fashion discovery, outfit creation and wardrobe organisation together into one cohesive experience, helping users feel less like they are simply browsing a fashion app and more like they are building a personal digital style experience.
